People
who have a Vitamin C deficiency can lose teeth, their gums bleed
easily, and they lose the strength of their bones. Luckily, it doesn't
take much vitamin C to prevent this problem. Make sure you are getting
your Vitamin C from food.
Where
can you find Vitamin C? Citrus fruits—oranges, limes, lemons and
grapefruit. Papaya, strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, cantaloupe, and
raspberries are also excellent. Some other good sources are cranberries,
blueberries, and watermelon, leafy greens, cruciferous vegetable,
summer and winter squash, green beans, and carrots. Enjoy taking your
vitamins!2 oranges, peeled and quartered
1/4 C water
1 banana
3/4 C ice cubes
1/4 t vanilla extrac
t 1 T honey (optional)
Blend together in a high powered blender and enjoy!
